I don’t think I have to look too far to find others ready to say “Goodbye” to 2020.

Seriously, don’t deny that you had great expectations of what 2020 would hold. Most of us looked at this year as a new beginning beyond the typical New Year “resolutions” or “goals” or whatever you identify as a new beginning every January first.

I also had great aspirations for 2020 only to have them shattered by a once in a lifetime pandemic.

Here’s the thing. . . . I’m over it. And I can’t possibly be alone.

Bear With Me On This

Twenty-Twenty has been so full of complete shit that I’m not even going to attempt to list everything that has happened. Just know that 2021 is just around the corner, and I, once again, have big expectations.

No matter what you feel about all that has taken place this year, it’s time to move on. It’s time to take personal responsibility for our own lives. It’s time to stop blaming others for the situation we might now find ourselves in.

We are Americans not victims.

We have a situation, and now, and whether you’re in favor of taking a vaccine or not, we must take the reins and move forward. Pick ourselves up off the ground or pull ourselves out of the gutter or where ever it is you have found yourself and make a positive impact on society.

We can all start by doing that in our own personal lives and surroundings.

Moving Past 2020

I won’t pretend that I believe the next calendar year will be shangri La. I think there is more to come. But, hopefully, we have endured the worst and the bulk of it no matter what is still left for us to face.

I do believe we should all be pulling our heads out of the sand and put some thought into how we can prepare for what may be coming.

I’m doing that by restructuring my business. What I have learned through my own experiences this year is that I need to make changes based on my own personal needs and the needs of my family.

Therefore my Nosh Box is currently on hold for 2021. I had big plans of buying more property to continue expanding my business as I currently know it. But I really want to reach those who want to grow, learn and do those things that will enhance their own health.

I really believe that to survive a pandemic, we all need to be our healthiest selves.

That was always my goal, it just wasn’t possible for me to do it all. Twice a week during the growing season, between my two full time jobs, I would put in at least two 22 – 23 hours days just trying to get the basics done before my veg deliveries. I couldn’t focus on the things that I wanted to implement the most in my business.

There Is No Perfect World But It Can Be Better

In my perfect world, I would love to see the need for pharmaceuticals for coronary artery disease and Alzheimer’s disease disappear.

Coronary artery disease can on some levels be reversed. The food you put in your body can also significantly slow the progression of Alzheimer’s and, if implemented early enough, can eliminate the changes in the brain that cause it altogether.

Seriously . . . is a steady diet of Twinkies and greasy fast food really worth literally losing your mind? Or having the “big one”?

We all fall off the wagon from time to time. But the habits we have on a day to day basis really do matter.

Let’s get rid of that “quarantine 15” and move into 2021 with a healthier immune system!

If you need more inspiration just think about the Christmas Star that presented itself on Winter Solstice in the year of 2020 and will be visible every evening through Christmas. That gives me hope for the future. There is more to life than pandemics, death, and anger. We just have to start healing within no matter what external factors are bearing down on us.

With many families spending Christmas apart this year, it’s hard to imagine the Christmas season is upon us. Get your zoom on and enjoy each other by video and look forward to a time when we can all join with our families to celebrate Christ’s birth in person!

Let’s do this! . . . We’ve got this together!

Cheers to a healthier and better future!

Peace out ~ Pam
