Out With The Old And In With The New!
So it’s the day after Christmas,
and all through the house,
not a creature was stirring,
not even a mouse.
The stockings are empty,
and hung back with care,
to enjoy what’s left,
of the magic in the air.
My daughter is sleeping,
still snug in her bed,
with the anticipation of Christmas,
now exchanged for cleanup and dread.
While I’m still in my PJ’s,
and my computer nearby,
I think of all that’s transpired,
in the year we leave behind.
When all of a sudden,
I have an idea,
to make a list of goals,
to achieve in the new year!
I think and I think,
wondering what can I do?
Then I decide,
this might take a day or two!
I lay out a plan,
goal planning is tough,
as hope for a brighter year,
springs up in my thoughts!
So as I prepare,
for what is to be next,
I hope you do too!
There’s still much to do!
